The Columbia Fireflies, a minor-league baseball team in Columbia South Carolina, wanted to create an identity that connected with the community and evoked memories of summer nights and fireflies. They wanted the visual brand to be relevant and fun, and work well across all design communication platforms, including team uniforms, stadium branding, and fan merchandise. The result was a big hit, with the organization seeing significant sales in fan merchandise in their first year. To top it off, the team was honored with the 2016 Best New Logo and Branding Award by Ballpark Digest. This was a Sky Design - Atlanta project.
